“Norsafe contracts series of 3 platforms for AWILCO at Yantai Raffles Shipyard”.

Norsafe are pleased to announce the engineering and delivery contract for the free fall lifeboats and rescue boats for GM4000 series rigs.
The platforms shall be equipped with GES 40 free fall lifeboats and Mako 6.55m fast rescue boats. These are served and recovered by a unique integrated davit solution engineered by Norsafe AS to suit restricted onboard space. The project takes advantage of Norsafe's multi-national manufacturing base with boats being built in Norway and davits constructed in China.
Deliveries are ongoing until 2009.
